Thank You for Your Annual Membership

As a member of the Crandon Area Historical Society, you are helping us achieve our mission of preservation and education.  Your contribution and membership will help us conduct local history research, actively preserve the Carter House museum and other historic buildings within the Crandon area, as well as educate the visitors who visit our museum each year.  Your membership donation makes all this possible.

We will keep you informed of our activities through email distribution lists, as well as on our website and social media pages.  If we do not have your current e-mail address, please send it to michell.gobert@wisc.edu so you don’t miss our communications about upcoming Society activities.  Meanwhile, to stay current, visit our website at www.crandonareahistory.org and follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

As a member of our Society, we hope that you will consider becoming an active Society volunteer.  Volunteers contribute a variety of skills and experience and play an integral part in our Society’s success in achieving its various missions.  Volunteers participate in and support museum functions, administrative tasks, public programming and both archival and artifact collection development.

The governing body of our Society is made up of dedicated volunteers.  Not only do volunteers contribute hours of their time; they also bring knowledge, skills and fresh ideas.  In turn, volunteers of our organization gain new valuable work skills; they meet new friends and make a significant impact in the community.

If you are interested in supporting our Society as a Volunteer, please contact me at michelle.gobert@wisc.edu, or 715-478-7797, to discuss current volunteer opportunities.

Again, thank you for joining!
